Colleen Davie Janes has been in the entertainment industry for over 15 years. A graduate of
Boston University's College of Communication
, she received her degree in film and
broadcasting in the 90s and began working as a Production Assistant on Hollywood films with
directors such as Brian De Palma, Robert DeNiro, and Oliver Stone under the tutelage of
Josheph Burns.

She then moved on to a successful acting career in New York theatre and short films while
occasionally delving back into directing, staging theatre productions in local venues Off and
Off-Off Broadway. Most notably was the play "Paradox of Authorship" invited to the
Samuel French Play Competition
at the Harold Clurman Theatre.

In 2004 Colleen directed the festival-selected short film "Stranger", and branched out with her
own below-the-line talent agency Gorilla Reps. While working at Gorilla, she also Coordinated
and Production Managed national commercials and music videos, including M. Night
Shyamalan’s "American Express"
commercial and Hype Williams’ “Check on It” video
with Beyoncé Knowles. In 2006, Colleen successfully passed her roster at Gorilla Reps on to
CEC Entertainment in order to concentrate on her directing and producing, concentrating on
the feature arena.

Most recently, she has produced the films "Charlie Keats" (Dir. Chris McKenna) for Wee
Beatie TV
, and "Leaving Ashland" (Dir. Brian Dilg) for Unspoken Pictures, and herself
directed "Game Day", a comedy for Tribe Hollywood.

Now on the grid is a slate of independent feature films for Scale Plus Points through her
company Wayward Wind Films, and is actively seeking partial financing from investors.
